The Builder Behind the Mission
AI chatbots are making us worse at learning. Here's why I'm building an alternative.
I'm a Software Engineering student who spends hours trying to untangle complex systems and understand difficult concepts. Every time I tried to use an LLM for help, I ran into the same wall: I'd paste text into a tiny box, the AI would just give me the answer, and I’d walk away having learned absolutely nothing.
Learning isn't a chat window. It's a conversation. It's messy, it's visual, and it requires a thinking partner who helps you figure it out visually, rather than just solving it for you.
That's why I'm building Tablo. Education should be inclusive, challenging, and universally accessible. Tablo is the tool I actually want to study with—an open-source intelligence that picks up the digital pen and nudges you forward.
